RediRobots Receives Climate Fund Grant

We are thrilled to announce that RediRobots has been awarded a $30,000 grant from Country Road’s Climate Fund! This funding will support our ongoing work to revolutionize textile recycling through innovative robotics technology.

Each year, over 200,000 tonnes of clothing end up in Australian landfills. RediRobots is committed to addressing this issue by simplifying and automating the sorting of textile waste by color, type, and material. Our advanced dual-arm robotic system—developed in partnership with the University of Canberra and Textile Recyclers Australia—aims to make textile recycling more efficient and sustainable.

This grant, aligned with Country Road’s pillars of circularity and innovation, will help us test and scale our technology, reducing waste, emissions, and turning discarded textiles into valuable resources.

We are excited to continue transforming the future of garment recycling and creating a greener, more sustainable fashion industry.

Stay tuned for more updates as we push the boundaries of textile recycling innovation!
